The main window of the software ...
The following sequence is a suggestion. The order of your inputs/decisions is only of secondary importance. Results are displayed or updated immediately when all required inputs and decisions are available.
- Specify which tolerance values are to be used for the calculation. You can choose between "DIN ISO 20457" and "DIN 16742" (Settings menu).
- Specify the evaluation method for determining the tolerance group. You can choose between "Point evaluation" and "Assignment help(s)" in the software.
- Make all the necessary entries and decisions for the selected evaluation method
- Enter the part dimensions to be toleranced in the corresponding lists "Tolerancing of length dimensions", "Tolerances for profile shape deviations" or "Direct position tolerancing with cylindrical tolerance zones".
- Optionally, you can additionally specify a required functional dimension/tolerance per nominal dimension. This (these) is then automatically compared with the possible manufacturing dimension/tolerance.
- If necessary, save your entries and decisions in a file. We recommend that you create a corresponding file for each molded part.
