YouTube videos on operation

Here you will find corresponding videos (in German with English subtitles) that explain how to use the software. This video list is constantly being expanded and updated

PolCycleTime (Cooling and cycle time calculation for injection moulding of thermoplastics as well as price and demand calculations)
Part 1: In the first part of the video, we show you the main components of the software and provide information on general operation.
Part 2: The second part focuses specifically on the "cooling and cycle time calculation" software component. It will be shown how to enter the required project data and "break down" the molded part into partial geometries. The geometry that determines the cooling time for the molded part can then be determined from the individual geometries.
PolPartDesign (Tools for the development and design of plastic molded parts)
Part 1: In this first part of the video series, we will give you an introduction to the general operation of the software. In the following videos, we will then look at the two main modules.
Part 2: In this part of the video series, I will show you a quick introduction to the operation of the snap fits module using the example of the straight bending spring with trapezoidal catch. The large number of combinations of connecting elements, catch elements and cross-sections would require a very extensive video. Simply use the trial version to get to know the software better.
PolTolerances (Tolerances for plastic moulded parts according to DIN ISO 20457 / DIN 16742)
Part 1: This video describes the general structure of the software and describes "point evaluation" as one of two methods for assigning process and molding compound. Furthermore, dimensions are recorded, configured and the results compared with permissible values.
Part 2: In part 2, I will show you the second method of process and molding compound allocation. Furthermore, the selection/assignment of the tolerance series is explained and the determination of the realizable tolerance series is shown. At the end, I will demonstrate how you can import data (dimensions) from external systems as a CSV file.
PolPlastics / Plastic commercial products database
Part 1: In the first part, the basic structure is shown and the commercial product list (currently more than 18,500) is explained. Furthermore, the first filters and selection aids are explained.
Part 2: The second part describes the search using property values and property designations.
