Control of the tilt stability:

In the case of straight bending springs with a rectangular cross-section whose height is greater than the width due to special design requirements, there may be a risk of instability due to beam tilting.

 

In this case, the safety against tilting is also indicated in the results  1 . The limit values of usual safety factors are in the range of 1.2 ... 1,5.
