Makrolar GbR, Berlin develops specific software for the plastics industry. In addition to the extensive technical content, our software products are characterised by simple and flexible operation. You will be able to work on different scenarios with a minimum of time and evaluate their differences in the results immediately. In particular, our material data used have been compiled over many years and with great care and are largely based on the material expert knowledge of our colleague Prof. Meyer.

News and Announcements

  • August 2026: We have comprehensively revised our software PolSelec – now more user-friendly and powerful.
  • March 2026: The completely revised software PolTolerances-AC is now available in version 3.0. It is also the first version that is available in English. The functions related to DIN ISO 20457 are fully integrated.
  • September 2025: In the new version of PolCycleTime, the melt residence time calculation and melt density calculation are now also integrated.
  • August 2025: The Commercial Products Database for Plastics is now also available as a standalone software application: PolPlastics.
  • June 2025: Version 4.3 of the PolCycleTime software released. New software module: Conditioning Time Calculation.
  • April 2025: Version 3.2 of the PolPartDesign software released.
  • October 2024: Approx. 500 additional materials in the Commercial Products Database. All data has been extensively consolidated and further information has been added for each material.
  • September 2024: We are launching our new Customer portal
  • December 2023: approx. 1,500 additional plastic commercial products in the supplied database (all software products)
  • December 2023: New videos available for operating the software.
  • October 2023: Version 3.1 of the PolPartDesign software released.
  • May 2023: The software PolPartDesign is now also available in English.
  • April 2023: Commercial Products Database module updated (all software products)
